comprehensive driver education for more than 25 years. This state certified
program covers a variety of topics such as, rules of the road, signs and signals,
sharing the road, alcohol and drugs, causes and prevention of accidents,
Driver's responsibility, .... in an interactive environment which prepares the
student for their upcoming DMV written test and behind the wheel training.
Once completed you will get a completion cert.(Blue Slip, see Sample below)

Requirements to obtain a permit:

                - Be at least 15 1/2 years old.
                - Fill out a DL44 form (DMV Permit/License Application), have your parents or
Guardian sign it. (Use original form not a copy)

behind-the-wheel training with a Licensed Instructor.
After the first lesson (2 hours) your permit will be signed by the instructor.
(that would allow you to practice with a licensed driver 25 years or older
                with a valid California license)
Once your 6 hours of training is completed you would receive a completion
Certificate. (Orange colored slip, see sample below)

Step 4:  Get additional Practice

You must complete at least 50 hours of practice, (ten of which are at night)
with someone over 25 years of age to be eligible for your provisional license.
Your parent or guardian signature is required on your permit, along with their

eligible to get your provisional license.
